Wolfe Island


  • From 1849-1998, Frontenac County was comprised of eighteen townships, of which Wolfe Island was one.
  • In 1998, Wolfe Island was amalgamated into the Township of Frontenac Islands in Frontenac County.
  • The annual publication of the Wolfe Island Historical Society is called Windword--browse the Tables of Contents.
  • A small amount of uncatalogued historical material is available at the Wolfe Island Branch of Kingston Frontenac Public Library. The material includes newspaper clippings, articles and ephemera.
