Adam Leslie's short film deals with the COVID-19 disruption of the school year.
Adam was in his first year at the Lakeshore campus of Humber College when classes were suspended because of the COVID-19 virus. Having already begun creating a short video for a film course, on the assigned topic of memory, he decided to incorporate memories of his first year at Humber with those of how the school year was cut short by the pandemic. He titled his video Rearview and included footage of his brother Sam, who was also in his first year at Humber.
All scenes were filmed between March 13 and 17 of 2020. The song used in the video is “They were only pictures", written and performed by Andrew Younker.
