Enjoy the upside of life and know that it’s kind of all rented, it’s not quite permanent

Jake's COVID-19 Story

April 17, 2020

Jake Miller describes working from home for KFPL during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how his life has changed since the lockdown.

He talks about what he’d be doing normally, and what’s hardest about living under social isolation, like being unable to rent a car to visit family, or celebrating a birthday indoors. He tries to find the upside of things and notes how easily we take everyday life for granted. He recalls his experience of the Fort McMurray fire in 2016, another time when life changed on a dime, and he reflects on the message he’d send to someone living ten years from now.
