“There was a big bad storm … and tablecloth and silver blew into the Atlantic Ocean”
Interview with Agnes Chambers-Glenn
September 22, 2016
Dr Agnes Chambers-Glenn tells Margi McKay about her research into the Chambers side of her family.
One story passed down by her father told how the Holland family silverware was blown into the ocean during their emigration to Canada during the 1850s.

She shows a photo of a Talisman rose she picked outside Down Cathedral in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, at the start of a trip to research her family history.
