“In those days the kids just were set free; the doors were open, they ran out and they came back when it got dark. ”
Interview with Diana Wilhelm (Part 2)
November 30, 2012
Diana Wilhelm shows a photo, circa 1959, of her first childhood cat Peter, taken in front of her family’s first house in Canada.
Built by her father, the house was outside Rosemere, Quebec, and Diana remembers what childhood was like for herself and her brothers, playing unsupervised in the fields, woods and swamp near their home.
Listen to Diana talk to Marilyn Ottenhof about Peter and the building of the house.
