“I can’t afford a Picasso … the next best thing is a copy”
Interview with Ken Allan
August 30, 2016
Ken Allan in Perth Road Village tells Margi McKay how he used his skill in clay to create a ceramic reproduction of a Picasso oil painting which he had admired in an exhibition.

Ken joined the Kingston Potters’ Guild and with his knowledge of chemistry he was able to create a copy of the picture. He explains that all of this was a hobby completely unrelated to his pre-retirement profession of gardening.
