Marcel Giroux shows Jo Stanbridge and Sara Carpenter two photos taken in December 2012 at his 80th birthday, and tells about going to boarding school after grade 8 where he leaned to read Greek, which helped him to learn a little Russian.

Later when he was a high school guidance counsellor on a tour of naval headquarters in Halifax, he read out the name of a Russian ship and was immediately suspected of being a Russian spy.
